Burgundy is known to be a land of wine and then when you go you will be conquered by its cellars and its many restaurants and bars in vin. Even here, however, as in all of France there are some markets of brocante and the delicious Vide Grenier.
Going by car to the Burgundy and Cote d’Or countryside you will be enchanted by the many castles and winegrowing properties of the area.
I recommend you visit the brocante of Nolay. You will find some brocante shops along the provincial road and a seasonal summer market (usually in August) in the main square.
The range of furniture, books and objects is quite large. Impossible to leave without buying something. If you continue along this road you will arrive at the Castle of Sully.
Here you will find seasonally Vide-Grenier very interesting for the proposed items and for very cheap prices.
Also go to Autun if you want to visit the very bohemian shops of Brocante and Beaune to combine a visit to its finest antique shops with great restaurants and bars in vin.
In each of these towns I also suggest a visit to Gothic cathedrals, small museums of decorative arts and some very charmeuses Hotel Particulier.
Oh I forgot, Dijon is a city of rare beauty. So if you can stay at least for a couple of days you will be enchanted ……
