Course location atelier Villa Cremisi of Sala Baganza (Parma)
From 10.00 – 15.00 with a short stop to have a quick snack in the atelier to be recovered at the end of the lesson.
The ornate drawing course is dedicated to those who wish to learn the basics of ornate design in a complete and professional way.
The course is also suitable for those who do not have previous decorative-pictorial experiences as they will start the basics of decoration.
You will learn to draw following a track previously affixed with the technique of dusting. We will learn to apply light and dark for the construction of three-dimensionality. You will paint with freehand water colors. It will start with the drafting in monochrome (single tone) or underpainting with veiling and it will complete the decoration using the unique tone of the lightened and darkened underpainting. For those with more experience you can go to complete the decoration with more colors. The technique learned can also be performed with acrylic colors or water-based tempera. This course is designed for all those who wish to learn the decoration of furniture and walls, even if the first decorative experience.
Course program
Preparation wooden or plaster support;
Technique of carryover of the drawing by dusting or tracing;
Drawing;
Technique of the drafting of the monochrome or underpainting tone;
Laying technique with light-dark and color-based veining and final protective application.
All materials will be provided by the atelier and the work carried out during the course will be owned by the participant.
On the spot will be provided explanatory notes and certificate of participation. 10-hour course divided into 2 days from 5 hours: 330 euros
