Course on interior design – The ‘Wallpapers’

The workshop ‘create your wallpaper’ is a course dedicated to all those who wish to design and create personalized wallpaper. Specifically, you will not be going to make life-sized hand-painted wallpapers, but you’ll learn how to make wallpapers that are drawn and hand-painted in scale, on paper, canvas or table.

The papers, canvases or boards painted and painted will be the clichés to be supplied to a company specialized in the printing of your wallpaper in woven paper. You will be provided with names of specialized companies with related costs and deadlines. If you wish to execute a specific drawing, you must send it to me before the course in order to evaluate the feasibility of its execution. The 5 days of 6 hours each include a design phase where you will create a freehand drawing (possibly with easy execution for those who did not have enough familiarity with the design). It will be colored and the desired effects will be created to obtain a realistic design with the desired scenogragic effect for a 1: 1 scale wall. You will then learn to work in scale, to think in ‘big’ to visualize and realize your wallpaper from a simple table, to your wall. At the end of the course, your painted table will be the cliché that can be printed on wallpaper and that will dress the walls of your home or of your potential customer.

First day: PROJECT Step

Study and scale preparation of the drawing; Development of the free form continuous drawing (with possible facilitated execution);

Second and third day EXECUTIVE Step

Color pictorial step for the definitive execution of the wallpaper design.

All materials will be provided by the atelier and are included in the price.

The course will be accompanied by the explanatory dispensation of the course.

During the course will be provided addresses and references from which to buy products and equipment.

At the end of the course a certificate of participation will be issued. No specific experience is required.

COST: euro 520.00 for 18 hours of course consisting of 3 days by 6 hours.
